About our lab
In this laboratory, we are investigating the molecular interactions of parasites and pathogens with their host insects. In particular, our focus is on:
1. Investigating the role of non-coding RNAs (such as microRNAs) in insect
biology and host-pathogen interactions, in particular anti-viral
responses.
2. Exploring virus encoded genes that are responsible for replication,
pathogenesis, and manipulation of host gene expression machinery.
3. Investigating Wolbachia-mosquito-virus interactions
